The Great Room is a spacious living area with a wood-
burning fireplace, a 40” high def television, a dining area
that seats eight, a small library/sitting area, and of course,
the kitchen. Perfect for families, there’s enough room for
small groups to do different things but still be together.
Inside Townsend Lodge
The Great Room’s six
French doors face south
and open out to the large
deck and private backyard,
cozy enough for lounging
but big enough for a touch
football game.
In the summer, Townsend
Lodge guests can sit
outside on teak furniture,
while BBQing something
great on the new gas grill.
Just to the side of the deck is
an in-ground, slate-lined,
rectangular hot tub that very
comfortably accommodates
six people.
Sit under the stars and watch
the Sno-Kats groom Baldy’s
slopes for the next day’s
skiing, or watch the horses
graze across the fence on
Reinheimer Ranch on an
impossibly blue sky day.
The two master
bedrooms each
have king beds
and their own
all new
bathrooms with
double sinks
and granite
countertops.
One master bedroom offers a cathedral
ceiling with a view out to the yard that goes
nearly from floor to peak. It’s a beautiful
sight to wake up to in the morning.
At the other end of the house, the second master bedroom is
cozy and warm, with French doors that open out on the deck.
Down the hall, there is an
adorable bedroom with a queen
bed and an Adirondack-style
bunk room which comfortably
sleeps four in massive, twin
mattress bunk beds.
The bunk room is outfitted to be the
kids’ domain, with a high definition
television, DVD and PlayStation.
There’s a love seat with ottoman and
plenty of soft carpet making it a super
hang-out away from the Great Room.
These bedrooms share an all new hallway
bath with a big glass shower, granite
counters, and lighted make-up mirror.
